Once dry, brush the haircoat again. For whole body application: Dispense 1 or 2 pumps onto your palm and then apply on the skin and hair. Massage into the skin until fully penetrated. Repeat as necessary to cover the whole body, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Do not rinse, let air dry. Once dry, brush the haircoat again. Dosage: Under 11 lbs: 1 pump per 2 lbs 11-88 lbs: 1 pump per 4 lbs Over 88 lbs: 1 pump per 6 lbs Dosage may be doubled for long-haired dogs. For deeper cleansing, use VetraSeb™ CeraDerm™ CM Shampoo.

Indications: For use on cats, dogs and horses with bacterial or fungal skin infections that are responsive to chlorhexidine or miconazole. Directions for use: Shake well before use. Bathe 2-3 times per week until symptoms subside or as directed by your veterinarian. Wet the animal with cool water from the neck down and apply shampoo first on the skin abnormalities. Starting with a quarter-size amount of product, massage into the fur to reach the skin. Repeat until the entire body is lightly coated with shampoo. Leave shampoo on for 10 minutes before rinsing with cool water. Wash hands after use. For a rinse-free solution between baths, use CeraSoothe CHX+MC antiseptic mousse and/or wipes.

Miconazole nitrate 1%

Hydrocortisone aceponate is a glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory effects. Miconazole nitrate is an imidazole antifungal. Gentamicin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. In the target animal safety study, hydrocortisone aceponate, miconazole and gentamicin were shown to be systemically absorbed from the ears of healthy dogs (see ANIMAL SAFETY ); increased systemic absorption may be observed in inflamed ears.

EASOTIC® (hydrocortisone aceponate, miconazole nitrate, gentamicin sulfate) Otic Suspension for Dogs

SUROLAN is contraindicated in dogs with suspected or known hypersensitivity to miconazole nitrate, polymyxin B sulfate, or prednisolone acetate. Do not use in dogs with known perforated tympanum. Do not use with drugs known to induce ototoxicity.

Do not use in dogs with known tympanic membrane perforation. EASOTIC Otic Suspension is contraindicated in dogs with known or suspected hypersensitivity to corticosteroids, imidazole antifungals, or aminoglycoside antibiotics.

Human Warnings: Not for use in humans. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. In case of accidental skin contact, wash area thoroughly with soap and water. Avoid contact with eyes. Humans with known or suspected hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone, aminoglycoside antibiotics, or azole antifungals should not handle this product. In case of accidental ingestion by humans, contact a physician immediately. Physicians may contact a Poison Control Center for advice concerning cases of ingestion by humans. Animal Warnings: As a class, aminoglycoside antibiotics are associated with ototoxicity, vestibular dysfunction and renal toxicity. The use of EASOTIC Otic Suspension in a dog with a damaged tympanic membrane can result in damage to the structures of the ear associated with hearing and balance or in transmission of the infection to the middle or inner ear. Immediately discontinue use of EASOTIC Otic Suspension if hearing loss or signs of vestibular dysfunction are observed during treatment (see ADVERSE REACTIONS).

Pivetal® Suffusion™ M ANTISEPTIC SHAMPOO

In the field study, 161 dogs treated with SUROLAN were included in the safety database. Two dogs experienced reduced hearing at the end of treatment; on follow-up one dog had normal hearing capacity while the other case was lost for follow-up. The owner of another dog reported that on day 4 of treatment, build-up of the medication decreased the dog's hearing. At the end of treatment, this dog had normal hearing as assessed by the investigator. Residue build-up was reported in 1 dog and pain upon drug application in another dog. A total of 161 dogs treated with the active control was included in the safety database and adverse reactions were reported in 8 dogs treated with the active control. One dog experienced reduced hearing at the end of treatment. Residue build-up was noted in 1 dog. Four dogs vomited during treatment, 1 dog showed red pustules on the pinna and head shaking was observed in another dog. Foreign market experience: the following adverse events were reported voluntarily during post-approval use of the product in foreign markets: deafness, reduced hearing, topical hypersensitivity reactions and red blisters on pinna. In most reported cases, the hearing loss and erythema were transient and resolved with discontinuation of EASOTIC Otic Suspension. Easotic®

Instill 5 drops in the ear canal twice daily and massage the ear. Therapy should continue for 7 consecutive days.

Priconazole™ Lotion 1% and Spray 1%

Accurate diagnosis of the infecting organism is essential. Identification should be made either by direct microscopic examination of a mounting of infected tissue in a solution of potassium hydroxide, or by culture on an appropriate medium. Lotion: Apply a light covering of Conzol™ Lotion, 1% (miconazole nitrate) to affected areas, once daily, for 2 to 4 weeks. Application is best accomplished using a gauze pad or cotton swab. Spray: Spray affected areas from a distance of 2 to 4 inches to apply a light covering, once daily for 2 to 4 weeks. Do not allow pet to contact finished wood surfaces until pet is thoroughly dried. Medication must be continued until the infecting organism is completely eradicated as indicated by appropriate clinical or laboratory examination. If no improvement is noticed within 2 weeks, diagnosis should be re-evaluated. Difficult cases may require treatment for 6 weeks. General measures in regard to hygiene should be observed to control sources of infection or reinfection. Clipping of hair around and over the sites of infection should be done at the start of treatment and again as necessary.

TOPICAL

Directions for Use: SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE. Use in a ventilated area and prevent the animal from licking and ingesting the product during application or throughout the drying time, as it may lead to gastrointestinal or respiratory tract irritation. For dry application - apply directly to skin and haircoat and allow to dry. For wet application or after shampooing - remove excess moisture and apply directly to skin and haircoat. Apply this product as often as directed by your veterinarian. All changes (positive or negative) in the condition of the skin and haircoat should be reported to your veterinarian to determine continued use of this spray.

Use in a ventilated area and prevent the animal from licking and ingesting the product during application or throughout the recommended contact time, as it may lead to gastrointestinal or respiratory tract irritation. Apply to wet coat, rub onto skin and haircoat to create a rich lather. Allow shampoo to remain on skin and coat for 5-10 minutes. Rinse well. Use up to 4 times per week or as directed by your veterinarian. All changes (positive or negative) in the condition of the skin and haircoat should be reported to your veterinarian to determine continued bathing frequency with this shampoo.

DIRECTIONS: Shake bottle before each use. After wetting or bathing your pet massage Miconazole Shampoo into your pet's wet coat until lightly lathered. Leave on pet for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use initially 2-4 times per week for 4 weeks, then reduce to once per week or as directed by veterinarian. For best results follow with GlenHaven Miconazole Conditioner.

Shake well before using. Wet coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply shampoo to head and ears, then lather. Do not get shampoo into eyes. Repeat procedure with neck, chest middle and hindquarters, finishing with legs. Allow shampoo to be absorbed for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

TOPICAL

Shake well before use. The external ear should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before the initiation of treatment. Verify that the eardrum is intact. Instill 5 drops of SUROLAN in the ear canal twice daily and massage the ear. Therapy should continue for 7 consecutive days.

AURICULAR (OTIC)

Surolan™ Rx otic suspension (miconazole nitrate, polymyxin B sulfate, prednisolone acetate)

DIRECTIONS: Shake well. With tepid water, thoroughly wet animal's coat. Apply and lather shampoo over the entire body, allowing 10 minutes of contact time. Rinse completely with water. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms subside, then weekly, or as directed by veterinarian.

TOPICAL

Sebozole™ Shampoo Deep Cleaning, Antimicrobial

Apply a light covering to affected areas, once daily for 2 to 4 weeks. See accompanying literature for full directions. Avoid contact with eyes, since irritation may result. Wash hands thoroughly after administration to avoid spread of fungal infection.

Accurate diagnosis of the infecting organism is essential. Identification should be made either by direct microscopic examination of a mounting of infected tissue in a solution of potassium hydroxide, or by culture on an appropriate medium.
