Contraindications, Calves: Do not use Sodium Salicylate in neonates or calves less than 2 weeks of age Dosage, Calves: 40 mg Sodium Salicylate per kg body weight once daily, for 1-3 days. Administer orally in drinking water or milk (replacer). Recommended withdrawal period for all food animals following use at “usual dosages”: meat 24 hours.

Not proven safe in pregnant animals or those intended for breeding. Avoid in dogs sensitive to aspirin, with gastrointestinal issues, ulcers, bleeding liver or kidney problems. Stop usc if lameness persists after 3 days: consult Vet for vomiting, diarrhea, depression, loss of appetite, or darkened stools. ONLY FOR DOGS; GIVE WITH A MEAL. Do not mix with other anti-inflammatory drugs. Contact professional in case of overdose. Not for puppies under six months old. Keep away from children and pets.

Keep container closed when not in use. Product may solidify at cold storage temperatures. Place container in room temperature storage, which will thaw the solution. If precipitate remains after thawing, place in warm water. Gently invert container to ensure dissolution and uniformity of product. Gradual darkening will not affect product stability. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

SaliGard™ Sodium Salicylate Concentrate 60% w/v

To reconstitute add 1 scoop (approximately 20 ounces) to 5 gallons of water to make stock solution. Meter 1:128 (1 fluid ounce per gallon) of drinking water. Prepare fresh stock solution daily. Repeat as needed. WATER PROPORTIONER USE: Add 20 ounces (1 scoop) of Pro-Prin to make 5 gallons of stock solution and administer through a medicator metered at 1:128 (1 ounce per gallon). THis will achieve a target does of 22.7 mg/lb (50 mg/kg) body weight daily. FOR ANTI-INFLAMMATORY/ANTI-PROSTAGLANDIN USE - DAY 1 WATER PROPROPORTIONER USE: Add 40 ounces (2 scoops) of Pro-Prin to make 5 gallons of stock solution and administer through a medicator metered at 1:128 (1 ounce per gallon). This will achieve a target does of 22.7 mg/lb (50 mg/kg) body weight daily. DAY 2 THROUGH 7 WATER PROPORTIONER USE: Add 25 ounces (1.25 scoop) of Pro-Prin to make 5 gallon of stock solution and administer through a medicator metered at 1:128 (1 ounce per gallon). This will achieve a target dose of 13.6 mg/lb (30 mg/kg) body weight daily.

Mix the following amounts of Uni-Sol 60 into the drinking water daily as analgesic/antipyretic or anti-inflammatory for: Growing swine - ages wean to market Growing chickens - ages 0-15 weeks Growing turkeys - ages 0-24 weeks Analgesic and Antipyretic: Mix 0.6 ounces of Uni-Sol 60 per 1000 lb bodyweight (42 ml per 1000 Kg) into the drinking water daily to provide the target dose of 25 mg sodium salicylate per Kg bodyweight. Anti-Inflammatory/ Anti-prostaglandin Effect: First day- Mix 1.2 ounces of Uni-Sol 60 per 1000 lb bodyweight (84 ml per 1000 Kg) into the drinking water daily to provide the target dose of 50 mg sodium salicylate per Kg bodyweight. Following days- Mix 0.7 ounce of Uni-Sol 60 per 1000 lb bodyweight (50 ml per 1000 Kg) into the drinking water daily to provide the target dose of 30 mg sodium salicylate per Kg bodyweight. Prepare fresh solutions daily. Repeat as necessary.

Following days- Mix 1 ounce of Uni-Sol® per 1000 lb bodyweight (65 ml per 1000 Kg) into the drinking water daily to provide the target dose of 30 mg sodium salicylate per Kg bodyweight. Prepare fresh solutions daily. Repeat as necessary.
